Reasons I Haven't Posted
1. I noticed in mid-August that I had last posted on the final day of school and thought that it would be nifty to wait until the first day of the new school year to resume posting.2. I was working at the school as a co-director of the summer camp. Good Times. Note to self: take next summer OFF!
3. I was practicing Korean so that I would be familiar with the language for my trip to Seoul.
4. I was filling out my application for a passport.
5. I was teaching English to a group of Korean students who came to visit our school.
6. I was planning field trips for previously mentioned students.
7. I was driving the bus and chaperoning said field trips.
8. Waiting for my passport to come on time. It didn't.
9. Cancelling my teaching trip to Korea due to lack of passport, and very little information to go on.
10. My grandmother died. Funeral arrangements, packing up her apartment, visiting relatives, family drama, it all takes time and energy.
11. Meeting new CCA teachers and helping to acclimate them to our unique environment.
12. Being at the school all summer gave me a false sense of being "ready" for the school year..hence there was a frantic final push to be sure that all was ready for the first day/week/year.
13. My apartment flooded.
14. The carpet molded.
15. We had to move out of the moldy apartment.
16. We had to move into a new apartment.
17. On such short notice very few friends were available to help with either move.
18. Mold means that everything needs to be washed...twice.
19. The new apartment has mice.
20. When you pack in such short notice it takes much longer to unpack and get organized.
21. And basically I am just lazy.
